How ToPNG uses a language cookie, browser theme storage and Google Analytics when configured. SVG to PNG conversion runs locally.

Cookies and browser storage
ToPNG uses browser preferences to support the site at topng.app. A cookie is a small value stored by your browser and sent with matching website requests. Local storage keeps values in your browser without automatically sending them with each request.
Neither is needed to grant commercial-use rights: converted PNGs are free for commercial use. You are responsible for confirming the copyright and permissions for your source SVG; see our Terms of Service.
Language preference
The language switcher can write a first-party cookie named locale, containing en or zh, with a configured lifetime of one year. Selecting a language again can refresh that lifetime.
The page URL determines its language: English uses / and Chinese uses /zh. The cookie records a preference; it is not a requirement for opening either version.
Theme preference
A local storage entry named theme stores the selected light, dark or system theme. It has no automatic expiry and remains until changed or cleared. If storage is unavailable, the site can still display its default theme.
Google Analytics
When a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured for the live site, ToPNG loads Google Analytics. It may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id> to distinguish visitors and sessions.
Google lists a default lifetime of two years for these cookies. Actual lifetimes depend on analytics settings and browser limits. See Google's cookie documentation and Google's Privacy Policy.
SVG rendering and downloads do not depend on analytics, and the converter does not send SVG contents or generated PNG files to that service.
Managing storage
You can inspect, block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Clearing site storage can reset your theme and language preference. You can still choose a language through the page URL and convert files locally.
Blocking cookies alone does not necessarily stop analytics network requests. Browser privacy tools or content blockers may provide additional controls.
